To Eat Or Not To Eat, that is the question.
The body is 80% alkaline and 20% acid. To maintain balance one should eat accordingly. Much of the discomfort and confusion we experience with our bodies comes from a high acid intake. Eggs, coffee, and toast is an all acid breakfast. When we rebalance our diet to 80% alkaline, 20% acid we feel fresh relaxed and awake. The alkaline foods are fresh fruit and vegetables. Yoghurt and the seeds of pumpkin, sesame, and sunflowers are the only alkaline proteins.
Grains, cheese, fish, nuts, eggs are all acid. Meat, cooked foods, coffee, tea, drugs are also acid.
There is nothing wrong with acid foods when we balance acid/alkaline correctly our whole experience and well-being changes.
Make two large salads a day the centre of your nutrition. Add a baked potato and some good protein and you will leave the table feeling clean, clear satisfied and ready for action.
The human body needs between 45 and 50 grams of complete protein a day. When you eat more protein than you need the body has to work very hard to burn it up. Some of it may be incompletely digested and poisonous by-products may cause headaches, mucus, and circulatory problems.
When body, mind, and emotions are out of balance, dis-ease results. Whatever form it takes the origin is that simple. When the body is rebalanced with nutrition and the mind (stress) is clarified, emotions become natural and dis-ease no longer exists.
