Christmas is just around the corner and over the few days which you will have off you will be offered all kinds of foods.
These are the facts:
Your body is 80% alkaline (Metabolism is like a chemical reaction in your body converting food into energy and leaving behind an “ash” residue waste), and 20% acid.
This is measured in the body by your PH levels. PH stands for “potential hydrogen” So the pH levels are actually measuring Hydrogen ions in the body. The greater the number of hydrogen ions, the lower the PH level and the more acidic your body is. The less hydrogen ions lead to a higher Ph value and a more Alkaline value in your body.
Rebalancing our Diet
When we rebalance our diet to 80% alkaline and 20% acid, we feel fresh, relaxed and awake. The Alkaline foods are fresh fruit (local where possible), vegetables such as Beets, Broccoli, Peas, Apple, Cherries, Pineapples, Almonds and Pumpkins.
Grains, cheese, fish, some nuts and eggs are all acidic foods as well as meat, sugary foods, processed foods and alcohol.
For instance, a large freshly chopped salad of, lettuce, cabbage, watercress, parsley, green pepper, onion, celery etc, is the best gift to your body. The roughage will clean out your intestine. The salad is full of vitamins and enzymes that you need.
Your daily salads form a major part of your 80% alkaline intake which is essential for youth, strength, and a calm state of mind.
So don’t wait until after Xmas to do these actions start today and then really enjoy the break.

- Start eating a daily salad.
- Be aware of too much acidic food intake and make 2 changes this week.
- Choose local in season fresh veg and fruit.
