No one wants to be stopped by a discomfort or a sudden pain in some part of the body. Your legs are the foundation of your body in more ways than you might realise. Your leg muscles are the powerhouses that support your entire body. When these muscles are strong they take the pressure off joints and help with proper posture.
When these muscles are weak your knees and hips take on more of the stress which can lead to pain and arthritis. along with this your lower back compensates leading to chronic discomfort.
Keeping your leg muscles strong helps your heart by improving blood flow. Strong legs help with balance and are your first line of defence against falls. Strong legs also stimulate the brain to produce new brain cells, keeping you focused.
